I Couldn’t Stop Laughing

Here I was sitting at the dining room table with Clara trying to eat dinner. I say try, because Clara was in stitches. I was getting the giggles too.

She’s always been a jokester. After she began speaking just a mere few words, Clara would intentionally mispronounce them and giggle. Now, her imagination is hilarious. Wordplays take her into worlds of sounds that don’t make sense – except that they rhyme.

I was tired yesterday evening after staying up longer than usual the night before. And so she had me where she wanted me – in stitches and playing along.

I’m glad I fell prey to her humor.

Any tension left over from the day dissipated into, well the giggles. I wish I could record her laughing – if we were eager to get her into Hollywood, she’d probably be a winner. But that’s not our plan.

Laughing sounds are part of any total health package. Mozart loved to giggle. His good humor got him through some pretty rough times and kept his music deeply beautiful. Mark Twain hinted that laughter has a mystical quality about it when he said ‘The human race has one really effective weapon, and that is laughter.’

My greatest friends and mentors all have that one thing in common – they love to laugh wholeheartedly.

Add a lightness of feeling to your daily palate. Coupled with illuminating sound you’ll have yourself feast of relaxation.

Warm Regards,
Tania Gabrielle French

P.S. A good laugh is like a ray of sunshine. Most people are cast under its spell. Try laughing next time you get angry and watch the magic unfold. Same magic happens when you listen to joyful music.

How Infrasound Manipulates You

If you’ve ever heard an organ in church or in concert, you might have been manipulated by infrasound.

A few years ago I attended an organ recital in Los Angeles. When those big pipes began to vibrate I was instantly taken back to my childhood. Sitting in church in awe and fear of those sounds.

Little did I know that organs have a magical power over our emotions. In fact, people who experience a sense of spirituality in church may actually be reacting to the extreme low bass sounds in some organ pipes.

Or so scientists think.

Some cathedrals have organ pipes that are so long that they emit these extremely low bass sounds, also called infrasounds. They’re lower than 20 Hertz and are pretty much inaudible to humans.

Recently the BBC reported that scientists in the UK pumped these infrasounds into a concert hall – and found they could instill strange feelings in the audience at will.

It’s not anything you’ll want to experience. These low frequency sounds gave the audience feelings of coldness, anxiety, an extreme sense of sorrow and shivers down the spine. Makes me wonder if the Puritans used long organ pipes as leverage before and after their sermons. And then went off on their witch-hunts.

Infrasounds so powerful that they can vibrate your internal organs. Scientists involved in this study also found that they could explain hauntings - the sense that some unseen thing or person are in the room.

Turns out that our addiction to extreme bass notes has existed for over 500 years and didn’t begin with rock ‘n roll.

"It has been suggested that because some organ pipes in churches and cathedrals produce infrasound this could lead to people having weird experiences which they attribute to God," said Professor Richard Wiseman, a psychologist from University of Hertfordshire.

There’s no end to how sounds make you feel. The choice of what you want your cells to vibrate to is yours alone. For a high frequency, positive sound experience get the 5 CDs in The Secret Power of Words and Music package.

The Day My Husband Fainted

It was eight years ago. We were preparing for an afternoon flight from Los Angeles to Seattle. I’m going to let Clayton tell the rest in his own words.

“We were hard pressed for time. A taxi was due any
minute and my wife was still making sandwiches for our
flight. I was madly closing up suitcases, programming light timers, cleaning out the cat box.

Suddenly my wife exclaimed my name in a way I'll never
forget. It sounded like a wail and an exclamation, fused. I knew this wasn't good.

Dropping everything I ran to the kitchen. Tania's holding her left hand, blood is running down her left arm. In trying to spear an avocado seed she had inadvertently gone through a rotten seed and opened one of her fingers up quite nicely instead - I like having Sharp knives in the kitchen.

Well, I immediately became mister calm and collected. Talked soothingly lovingly as I wrapped up her hand in a
towel, ran out and cancelled the cab which had arrived, got her to the hospital quick as a flash, and ushered her into the examination room, I was a paragon of strength and reassurance.

'Want to stay?' asks the surgeon as he peels away the
blood soaked towel.

'Oh sure,' I said, in complete ignorance of what would
befall me only minutes later.

After the towel had been removed and dropped in a 'hazardous materials' wastebasket, the doc began his examination of the damage. As he's doing so he's talking out loud to the surgical nurse. Yep, cut straight thru the dermis, partially severed the blankety-blank nerve, good nick to the bone.'

Up til 'partially severed the ...nerve', I was fine.

But just after I heard him say 'bone' the room began spinning in circles. The last thing I heard before waking up on the floor a few minutes later was the nurse shouting, 'grab him, he's passing out!'

As I came to I could see the nurse was still quite annoyed. 'You'll have to leave the room now,' she quipped at me as I shuffled for the door.

Well, so much for mister 'in control'.

After sewing up Tania the surgeon did come out and check
on me. 'Next time you feel you're going to pass out, focus on breathing,' he said. 'You can't pass out if you do that.'”

Very true. Focus on breathing and a lot of things are improved. Most importantly, stress is reduced – almost instantly.

Add calming music to the mix and relaxing happens even quicker. Hearing beautiful, soothing sounds will naturally make you breathe deeply.

Think of your breath as connecting your mind to your body. Then invest in the easiest solution to all sorts of stress out there, high frequency music high frequency music. Deep breathing has never been this easy.

Warm Regards,
Tania Gabrielle French

P.S. Clayton hasn’t fainted since. Even our daughter’s birth didn’t phase him. Take your breathing to a new level with The Secret Power of Words and Music.

Give Your Brain A Break

Clayton and I made a decision early on not to enroll Clara in preschool and kindergarten.

Instead of leaving her for 4-8 hours a day she’s attending three 45 minute classes in storybook theater, ballet and gymnastics.

While basking out in the sun yesterday during one of her classes I got to thinking about how well parents prepare their kids for a life of stress.

The first sure-fire way to get kids’ brains wired for stress is to enroll them in too many after-school activities. So they never come up for air. Especially when you add homework to the equation.

The second way is to eliminate unstructured playtime in favor of learning. Some parents begin to teach their fetus math and foreign languages. No kidding. Thing is, it works. But that doesn’t make it right.

Because imagination is suppressed and laughter fades away. Because somehow someone forgot along the way that babies aren’t adults.

When I was a kid, my three younger sisters and I would play in our large partly wooded back yard. My dad recorded us one day. You can hear four girls singing to each other instead of talking while we’re all characters in our own imaginary stories. It’s heartwarming and makes me smile.

Which brings me to the third way to indoctrinate a child into a life of stress. Keep them indoors most of the time. That’ll do it. Outdoor play is the most beautiful, creative experience in a child’s life.

Unfortunately the sun has gotten a bad rap for the past decade.

In reality, sunlight is not only good for you - those warm rays FEEL good. Their warmth penetrates deeply into your body. Want to sleep more soundly. Then catch some rays.

Overbudget your life takes the breath out of you. You always feel like you’re behind. Give yourself the time to unwind. Take a deep breath and recharge your brain cells. There’s never a good a time as Now.

Warm Regards,
Tania Gabrielle French

P.S. Used to de-stressing in front of the teevee? Take a break one evening and give classical music a try. Not only will you notice a huge difference in how you feel, you’ll be hooked. Because one activates and fills up your mind with more clutter – and the other empties it and puts it into slow motion. An incredible experience.

What You Follow, Follows You

Yesterday, while Clara was at the piano, I leafed through the latest issue of Vanity Fair.

The end of an article on Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes caught my eye. Katie was upset at the press for spreading unfound stories about her new baby. She admitted to actively following all the gossip because “this is my future. This is my family and I care so much about them.”

She’s right. The things she spends time thinking about ARE her future. Katie, you’ve really got to stop watching and reading the stuff that gets you upset and angry.

Is being up to date on the latest gossip about you and yours more important than your sanity and peace of mind.

Of course not. Look, curiosity killed the cat too.

And for that very reason, as hard as it may seem at first, I suggest Katie stop reading and watching and listening to anything remotely connected to her and her family.

If all of us would just pay attention to our own lives, the world would be a better place. And that includes Katie and Tom.

It’s been a couple of years since I stopped watching teevee and listening to the radio. Can you believe I don’t want to be reminded of the latest war, terrorism attack, political posturing, or bird flu plagues. Let alone all those gossip shows and magazines Katie’s keeping tabs with.

I must be crazy. Definitely not in touch.

You might agree. And then again, the 5 CDs in The Secret Power of Words and Music may have pulled a fast one on your sanity as well. You might also be feeling calm, quietly confident, more alive, rested and rejuvenated. You’ve traded in the hectic commercial airwaves with healthy, pristine sounds.

If you haven’t, go and find out what’s been missing in your life. Certainly not more news.

Warm Regards,
Tania Gabrielle French

P.S. Bad news stops being palatable when you feel GOOD. Listen to any of these 5 CDs and watch your cravings for negative news diminish. What you follow, follows you.

5 Secrets About Music

This morning I accidentally dropped a heavy musical score on the lowest keys of our piano.

Whoa. Our daughter Clara didn’t like that in the least.

Sitting the next room over, she was pretty shook up by the sudden, unexpected loud sound.

She got over it pretty quickly, once I showed her the big score and stored it safely away. I was reminded of how deeply sounds affect us, and how kids seem especially attuned to sound.

Some recent research about benefits are that -

1. Music helps the development of speech. This isn’t just true for kids but for anyone wanting to expand their vocabulary or learn a new language.

2. The rhythm in music help you understand ratios, fractions and proportions. Your mathematical brain is getting a free workout.

3. Music helps with social skills. The emotional aspect of music benefits empathy – for yourself and others.

4. Self-expression and self confidence are greatly enhanced through music. Listening to positive music take your creativity to greater heights. The result – your confidence soars.

5. Your intellect gets a big boost. Classical Music actually improves your ability to reason abstractly. Your brain just loves these sounds.

Some of you might be saying, music seems like a good thing to expose children to. But MY brain is formed and not much is going to improve on it.

If you’re thinking that, you’re barking up the wrong tree.

Your brain’s alive, right. Otherwise you wouldn’t be here. Even scientists are now claiming that your brain never stops changing. Of course, it’s up to you which direction you want your brain cells to go – into the dumps or into high gear.

All you need is the capacity to listen. To great, joyful, uplifting, programmable music and you’ll keep those aging thoughts at bay forever.

Warm Regards,
Tania Gabrielle French

Hijacking the Airwaves

Yesterday I sat down in a beautiful waiting room with my daughter and was surprised to hear an NPR news program wafting in from the next room over.

Of course, the news was not of the happy variety. So I moved as far away from the sound source as possible. It was surprising, because this place naturally attracts a lot of parents with kids.

Do people really have to hear the news anytime of day whenever possible. And subject their addiction on others. Especially children.

What this really boils down to is an abuse of our airwaves. Whether it’s foul music or foul news, you’re definitely going to feel the effects in your brain and body.

Hijacking the airwaves, by smoking cigarettes or playing negative sounds, is plain arrogant.

OK, if you’re at home, anything goes. Literally.

Lots of folks who unwind in front of the old TV in the evening are not sure what they’ll be watching. Guess their remote will be flipping channels looking for a show or movie that captivates their exhausted mind. Feeling stimulated, they suddenly feel alive again.

Course, it’s just their hormones kicking in.

Over-stimulation happens with drugs, food or sounds. Sometimes all three at once.

The stuff that oozes out of your teevee and radio spikes and stimulates big time. It may be okay in small doses. As long as you also frequent sounds that bring your heartbeat back to where it belongs – at 60 beats a minute.

Take your pulse while listening to today’s news or watching your favorite sitcom. And take it again while listening to the soothing sounds on any of The Secret Power of Words and Music CDs.

It’s an easy test. One you can take anywhere. And yes, that slower heartbeat will give you a longer, healthier life. The choice is yours.

Warm Regards,
Tania Gabrielle French

How To Stop Snowballing

While getting my hair cut in a small salon I overheard this intriguing conversation between two women.

“Wow, look at that pile.”

“It’s a big stack and there’s another one at home.”

“It snowballs quick, doesn’t it.”

“Yeah. What’s really a drag is that the bottom line never moves.”

You probably guessed what the topic was: Paying bills. I used to postpone that task as long as possible myself. Wasn’t happy about doing it one little bit. I kept a stack going and tried not to pay too much attention. Of course, I was just fooling myself.

My subconscious mind was trained to associate bills as being a baaad thing.

I admit, at one point in my life I wasn’t too bright about monee. In fact, you could’ve called me an imbecile. A totally clueless moron. Not only did I see our bills pile up day after day – the weight of that knowledge left me tired and listless. Really, I was sleepwalking through life.

But did I change that habit. Nooo.

I didn’t understand one of the principle laws of generating prosperity. I actually believed that by paying bills at the very last minute gave me more money.

WRRRONG.

Now I know what all people with money know. Pay your bills as soon as they enter your home. Why. Because otherwise, you owe money. Daah. It doesn’t feel good nor will it generate more of the stuff.

You won’t believe how good it feels to not ever see a bill pile up on your desk.

Applying this powerful principle has changed the flow of cash into our bank accounts. It’s really remarkable how Not accumulating bills will accumulate riches.

Paying what’s due as soon as it comes to your attention makes you feel better. No more burden to carry around. No more guilt. You sleep more soundly. You’re just plain better off paying all bills on time every time.

Doing this one simple thing will change you.

For more powerful prosperity secrets get The Science of Getting Rich for Creators course. Even immensely wealthy people keep refreshing their minds with the amazing morsels of wisdom this program reveals

Go check it out and discover the principles to a glorious, free life.

All Americans Are ...

Fill in the blank. When you travel or live overseas you hear ignoramuses claim this and that about All Americans.

Happens here too, I know. Blanket statements can be entertaining, but don’t take ‘em too seriously.

Yesterday a woman was telling me about her musical family after she found out we’re professional musicians.

“My mom sings and plays piano. My sisters each have their own band.”

“Uhu.”

“I play the flute. One of my sisters does hard rock and the other alternative rock. It’s all music, you know – it’s all good,” she was almost reassuring me.

There are times to keep your mouth zipped, and this was one of them. It’s her family, after all. I could have said, “Actually, not all music is good. You wouldn’t say that about all food, or all people living in France, would you?”

“Well…no,” would be the answer.

Take corn vs. blueberries. Same size, different color, but that’s where the similarities end. One has anti-cancer properties, is a powerful antioxidant, helps your vision and prevents short term memory loss. The other, well – your body can’t even digest it.

Blueberries, especially the bilberry and wild blueberry kind, are really good for you. What’s not is – surprise – corn, or anything made with corn. The yellow shell containing the soft meat of the kernel is indigestible. This applies to all corn products from cornmeal to corn syrup to cornstarch.

Before my eyes were opened, I used to love eating corn. Just like some of you like listening to hard rock. Thing is, once your enlightened one way or the other you can’t claim ignorance no more.

I know it’s tough to find out your favorite food or music really ony HARMS your health. Talk about being caught between a rock and a hard place. Can’t turn back, but don’t want to go forward. Fact, is most people don’t want to change.

Thing is, if it works it works, and only the weaklings will turn back to bad old habits.

Not so the hundreds around the world who have listened to The Secret Power of Words and Music. They feel more alert, more relaxed and truly invigorated. Now it’s your turn to tune in.

Dogs, Coughs and Complainers

A few weeks ago we began looking for a new caregiver for our daughter Clara. We thought we found one until this morning. It was the beginning of her second day with us. The new girl began to cough after having had something stuck in her throat.

Well, Clara is allergic to all cough sounds. She’s quite a musical child and has always had a high sensitivity to noise. Coughs rank near the top of the list of noise offenders.

So, she came running to me to be consoled. Unfortunately the coughs kept coming every few minutes. It sealed the deal for Clara.

In my mind, this incidence was also a sign all wasn’t right. I had noticed a slight smell of smoke on our candidate this morning – BIG negative in my book. Especially since I am allergic secondhand smoke.

Back to Clara’s allergy to coughs. I realize this story sounds odd. How many kids do you know who start crying when they hear – a cough? Really though, it just illustrates the power that certain sounds – and smells - have on all of us.

One of the noises I’ve always disliked is dogs barking.

Here I’m walking enjoying the fresh air and mountains scents and suddenly a dog starts pounding the silence with loud woofs like I’m the intruder from hell. I’m not very particular to those interruptions.

Back to this morning’s incident. As soon as our candidate left, Clara was back to her normal happy self. Remove the culprit and you feel a lot better. Clara will have to learn that certain noises can’t be avoided. Luckily they can be nullified with soothing, relaxing sounds.

So put on a set of headsets and plug into this beautiful, positive music - beautiful, positive music. It’s a tried and true method to return to serenity – at any age.

Warm Regards,
Tania Gabrielle French

P.S. Noise proves nothing - Often a hen who has laid an egg cackles as if she had laid an asteroid. Mark Twain is talking about another form of noise, namely complaining. Next time, turn the other way and turn on the music. They’ll never know what hit them.

Good Workout, Slow Music

It’s common to assume that you should exercise to fast-paced music in order to get the ultimate work-out. Well, not exactly.

"Dear Tania
I'm athletic and would the slower sounds and beats have a more positive effect then the faster sounds/beats? Or am I totally off and it is the same? I really enjoy reading the news letters and thank you for sending them!"

Ed M.

Ed, the only thing a fast beat will do is raise your pulse and adrenaline artificially. Not something anyone needs. If you want to listen to music during workouts, play the slow kind.

First of all this music will relax you. The result is, you’ll be breathing more deeply and slowly. And secondly, you’ll be able to focus much more on WHAT you’re doing.

You see, fast music will put your brain into high gear. You won’t be able to center into your body or benefit from the deep breathing that is integral to any good workout program. Instead you’re spiking the stress hormones and mindlessly running or doing your reps.

Contrast that to slow, high frequency music - and the difference on you is huge. Your pulse slows down, your thoughts aren’t flying off the wall and you actually feel in touch with your body. A very cool thing.

Mindless physical activity to mindless music is not the way to go.

It just makes you feel more disjointed and disconnected, no matter what you’re doing.

Give slow, positive music a try. Use one of the CDs in The Secret Power of Words and Music and make the ultimate mind-body connection.

Warm Regards,
Tania Gabrielle French

Going Deaf 30 Years Too Early

I’m not giving my daughter an MP3 player anytime soon. She could risk going deaf 30-40 years earlier than the norm, if I did.

That’s what a large-scale study in the U.K. has found. Young people with iPods often listen to music for a length of time at high volume levels. Ouch.

The Times of London reports that more than 50 percent of those between age 16 and 24 listen to their MP3 players more than an hour a day. 20 percent spend more than 21 hours a week plugged in. Thing is, over two thirds - 68 percent of the group - don’t realize that listening at a loud volume causes lasting damage.

So lots of young people are permanently damaging their hearing.

Vivienne Michael, the chief executive of Deafness Research UK, said: ‘A generation ago we would see people going deaf in their 60s or 70s, but we’re now seeing more people going deaf in their forties, which is very worrying.’

People who are now in their 40s were listening on their walkmans a couple of decades ago. But MP3 players can be even more damaging due to the kind of earset that’s used.

To sum it up: any noise above 105 decibels can cause irreversible harm.

Guess how high iPods allow you to turn up the volume. 120 decibels. Which happens to be as loud as an ambulance siren. When one of those passes I’ve always had to hold onto my ears.

What happens is that this loud noise kills the hair cells in the ears that pick up sounds and process them. These hair cells gradually die as people reach old age.

So, the louder the noise and the longer the exposure to it, the more hair cells get destroyed. Irreversibly.

If other people can hear your MP3 player, it’s too loud. The 60-60 rule is this. Users shouldn’t listen at more than 60 percent of maximum volume for more than an hour.

Imagine losing your hearing. At any age. Pretty grim thought. “We don’t want the MP3 generation to go deaf in their thirties or forties,” Michael said.

Why do people want to tune out the world with loud volume. Stress, stress and more stress. From high school through college to securing that first job the emotional, social and mental stress can lead youngsters to tune out. They get addicted to the adrenaline induced by loud noise.

Craving that ‘alive’ feeling because life is dull is a pretty common. But doing it with loud, low frequency pounding music is deadly.

The alternative to noise is calm rejuvenation. As in The Secret Power of Words and Music package. You won’t be craving loud sounds much longer when listening to these gems.

Warm Regards,
Tania Gabrielle French

P.S. The U.K. survey also showed that a third of people under the age of 35 had experienced ringing in the ears — a sign of hearing damage — after listening to loud music. Four out of five in this group also went to noisy nightclubs. Not recommended if you want to keep hearing far into the future. Enjoy the fruits of healthy sounds now.

Better Watch Out for these Painkillers

Remember Vioxx? Well the news on painkillers turned even uglier today.

First, Vioxx is more damaging than previously reported. Not only does it increase the risk of heart attacks and stroke - it may also cause kidney damage and heart arrhythmia (abnormal heart rhythm).

Turns out that some older, "safe" painkillers cause the same heart problems as Vioxx. And, get this – the American Medical Association includes Ibuprofen on this list. For anyone who doesn’t know, ibuprofen is an over-the-counter drug. And widely used.

I should know. Though I haven’t touched the stuff in six years. Ever since my dentist told me it causes kidney problems. But that’s a whole nother story.

It’s widely known that these anti-inflammatory drugs cause gastrointestinal problems. Now that they’re adding heart problems to the mix will hopefully deter most people from using them.

Here’s some good news. Today the same Journal of the American Medical Association is reporting that drinking green tea can reduce the risk of early death from heart disease by up to a quarter. Green tea can also decrease deaths from other causes such as strokes.

Proves yet again that what seems like bad news at first is just an invitation to make a change.

If you have a need for painkillers you’ll be interested to know that numerous studies have shown how high frequency music reduces pain in people suffering from arthritis and other painful conditions. This positive music has been so successful that hospitals are now prescribing it as a get well remedy.

As with anything that’s good for you, it’s good for many things. Whether eating more greens, sleeping longer, exercising or relaxing to positive sounds – you benefit from head to toe, not just in one specific part of your brain or body.

It’s why aiming for overall good health is always the way to go. To make it even easier go hear this now.

Tania Gabrielle French

How to Use the Secret Power

I often receive questions that I’m not able to answer. Occasionally I pick one that might help lots of folks. Here’s one of those questions.

“Hi Tania,
I'm just wondering if you could recommend a ‘strategy’ for listening to the CD's. I've been listening to ’Rejuvenation’ every night and it's truly great. I feel so good. In the morning I listen to the ’Power of Concentration’ CD. Any correspondence you could send would be awesome!”
Thanks Tania,
Tom A.

Tom, you’re definitely on the right track. Here’s what else I recommend.

Listen to the ‘Rejuvenation Visualization’ right before going to sleep for 21 consecutive nights. That will allow your subconscious mind to connect with the powerful words really quickly. Why do I alternate these tracks with music. So that you can enter an alpha state of mind, where creativity and assimilation of knowledge happens effortlessly.

It’s why listening before bed or first thing in the morning works so well. The ‘Power of Concentration’ CD should also be listened to this way. I suggest you play one or the other for a few weeks.

The ‘Renewal’ and ‘Oread’ CDs can be heard at any time. They work especially well while you’re in a creative state of mind – while writing, coming up with new ideas, cooking, painting, etc. Playing this music while driving makes good use of that free time to focus on projects and relax at the same time.

The information on the ‘Power of Music Unveiled’ CD is a great reminder of how deeply sound penetrates all the cells in your body.

With this 5 CD package the world of extraordinary, positive sound vibrations is opened up to you. Expand your mind with musical nutrition now.

Warm Regards,
Tania Gabrielle French

You Might Be Addicted to this Substance

So many people have a dependence on this substance that it’s considered natural. Far from it. This stuff is harmful to your health.

I’m talking about the addiction to noise. Yes noise.

The TV-is-always-on-in-the-background-noise, constant traffic rumble, radio babble, and loud deafening music. All are low frequency sounds that are damaging your brain cells.

But they’re noises everyone takes for granted. I don’t and nor should you.

Noise is the key ingredient to a stressed out life. Why is it so addicting? Because it makes you think you’re alive. When really all that’s happening is that your adrenaline gets spiked. And your brainwaves numbed. For many this goes on from the time they wake up until they slump back into bed.

Let’s say the radio alarm wakes you up. After your shower you switch on the radio or TV while you rush to make coffee and a quick breakfast. On the way to work you keep the radio on to keep you company during your mindless drive. At work, computers and printers, heaters and A/Cs hum all day. You go outside to eat lunch and hear traffic pass you by. Then all is reversed as you head home, mind and body exhausted. If you can muster up the energy to exercise you do so while plugged into your iPod. By the time you hit the sack your mind is so overloaded with noise you sleep restlessly.

The plain and simple fact is that exposing ears to noise most of the day creates a lesser mind.

If you train in a gym that blasts loud music and has the TV disrupting your focus then consider switching to another gym so you can work out in peace and quiet. It’s not a good idea to let music raise your heartbeat. Do that while exercising.

The best way to quit noise addiction is to check into some new riffs. And turn the low frequency waste off.

Music that simultaneously recharges And relaxes you is hard to find. Until now. These fun, uplifting 5 CDs won’t damage your eardrums. The only beats you’ll hear are the good kind.

Soothe your mind and refresh your body the natural, quiet way.

Warm Regards,
Tania Gabrielle French

Toxic Talking

We were out at our favorite restaurant the other night. Got the last table outside on a beautiful late summer evening.

Next to us was a group of four also enjoying a quiet evening. Or so we thought.

Turns out, they had a woman in their midst who didn’t know how to stop talking. Chit chatting about others in a complaining way. What made it worse is that she couldn’t turn the volume down. Add insult to insult - the lovely waitress serving them was treated quite rudely.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief when the foursome finally departed.

I was reminded about toxic talking being another form of noise pollution. Toxic words can alter the environment around everyone within hearing range. I liken it to second hand smoke of the aural kind.

Every sound you hear affects you in one way or another.

Every word, every sentence carries a vibration. A thought that’s verbalized is a living sound wave. It not only penetrates the ear but the mind.

It goes without saying that cleansing your mind of negative thoughts is as important as taking your daily bath or shower. If you think of these words and thoughts as viruses infecting your ability to think clearly – you’ll know what I’m alluding to.

Next time you find yourself bogged down by someone else’s idea of ‘having a good time’ – as in loud, incessant talking or music - clean out the virus with positive, calming sound.

Warm Regards,
Tania Gabrielle French

P.S. "But far more numerous was the herd of such, Who think too little, and who talk too much." – John Dryden. It’s true. Beware of big talkers and small listeners. And get yourself a natural remedy for driveling noise.

How To Protect Your Ears From Noise Pollution

Seems like no matter where you live – big city or little town – noise pollution will pester and fester. Here’s a good example from Andy in Elwood, IN.

“Hey Tania,

“I couldn't help but think of you today. I listen to your CDs every day, especially the "Renewal" CD, and while I'm sitting here working away in my home office, I'm bombarded by so many noises coming through my open window that I thought my head was going to literally EXPLODE!

“In one 30 second span, my brain is melting from a neighbor's annoying hedge trimmers, a very slow, LOUD tractor riding by my house, 3 or 4 automobiles of varying degrees of squeeks and rattles, locusts chirping away in the trees, barking dogs in the distance, and so on.

“AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

“... and I live in a very small town in the heartland of Indiana!

“I guess the reason I started laughing, though, is because I've read your emails about how bad sounds can effect your life, I've listened to your CDs, and I know how effective your music and accompanying words have been for me since I bought them a month, or so, ago.

“Just thought you might like to know that your program is helping me endure all of the noises that surround me until my family and I get that house in the country that we've been dreaming about, which will be soon, by the way.

“Thanks, Tania!

CBS Plays To A New Tune

Last night CBS Evening News unveiled a new music soundscape. They’ve only been four themes used in the history of the show, so this is a big deal.

With Katie Couric anchoring, they revamped the music that’s been in place since 1981 to celebrate the historic occasion.

Why am I telling you this?

Because the guy leading the orchestra is none other than my husband, world-class violinist, Clayton Haslop. Academy-award winning composer James Horner of ‘Titanic’ fame composed the music.

You’ll be able to catch snippets of the music every night plus it will begin being used on all of CBS’ news programs.

Speaking of news.

Clayton and is violin are featured in ‘The Secret Power of Words and Music’ - The Secret Power of Words and Music
5 CD package. It’s a good thing we’re married – otherwise I’d be paying through the gills to get this master to perform my music.

Here’s your chance to hear this world-class musician and his friends perform some exquisite music. Secure your CDs
now.

Where Optimism Orginates

Ever watch a movie without a soundtrack. Or a TV show without music. Not a very appetizing thought.

Music is a mystery. The power it wields on our imagination and wellbeing is enormous. Like Confucius said, ‘Music produces a kind of pleasure which human nature cannot do without’.

There’s another kind of ‘music to your ears’. You’re immersed in it day in, day out. No one escapes these sounds. This music is comprised of the words you speak, read and think about every moment of the day.

The ‘sound’ of those words penetrate your wellbeing in a similar way that music does. Immediately, deeply and irrevocably.

Add to that other people’s voices and you’ve got yourself a smorgasbord of aural influences. Not to mention the emotional tinges of actors voices as they bring to life one drama or another on teevee and film.

The list goes on - I haven’t even mentioned the low frequency humming of electronic equipment, heaters and A/Cs as well as traffic.

Put together, this is the music of your life. Your aim is to minimize the negative sounds, including much that teevee, movies, magazines and books have to offer. Instead, simplify your sound palate by exposing your mind and ears to the stuff that picks you up, makes you laugh, helps you think creatively and calms you down.

Sounds and music are everywhere. Mostly unnoticeable, because they’ve become part of the fabric of our lives. But that doesn’t mean these sounds aren’t playing a number on your mind. They are, big time. Start paying attention and you’ll be making changes pronto.

Listening to The Secret Power of Words and Music package will help you get there a lot faster. Every one of those five CDs has an arrow pointing the way to happiness.

Immerse yourself in what’s good for you. You won’t regret it.

Warm Regards,
Tania Gabrielle French

P.S. Ever wonder how you would feel if every obstacle was turned into an opportunity – a chance for getting rid of cobwebs. Listen to these five CDs to infuse that childlike feeling of boundless optimism back into your life.

Programming Your Mind With Sound

Using sound to program your mind is as easy as pie. Here’s what one reader wanted to know.

"Hello Tania,
I have purchased your series and enjoy the compositions. But I have a question.

"What is highly programmable music (is that predictable melody line that is easy to learn and internalize?)

"Great Job, on the compositions!"
Erien F.

Thank you, Erien. As you’re listening to the CDs you’ll notice how just turning on the music will change how you feel – if ever so subtly.

The programming is instantaneously felt in your mind and heart.

It all happens subconsciously, so when you listen to certain music frequently you’ll enter that good feeling automatically. Yes, remembering a melody from any of the songs will also do the trick. The memory of anything will trigger the feelings you associate with that memory.

It’s why remembering music from years, even decades past, can make you well up with tears, joy or laughter. It might get your chest pounding as if the experience were happening for the first time. That’s the subconscious power of sound at work.

Great thing is, you can program your mind anyway you want to.

However, the critical thing is that you know how the music affects you. Remember – sounds affect you instantly, whether it’s someone’s tone of voice, a song on the radio or traffic noise.

Anything that changes your mood, your ability to focus is a tool you can use. Just make sure, it’s good mood food that’s feeding your mind.

Warm Regards,
Tania Gabrielle French

P.S. Highly programmable music that elicits joy and calmness is nothing to sneeze at. A powerful tool that’s easy to use, and easy to integrate into any daily activity. Fill your days with sounds that inspire.

The Secret To Making A Fortune

How is it that some people are fortunate and others never get close to prosperity?

Good question.

And the answer is simply elementary, my friend. But only few grasp the meaning of the answer. Here it is.

Fortune follows those who allow themselves the luxury of creative thinking.

Yup. I told you it was simple. So what’s keeping most from following this formula?

Stress, bad health and, most of all, bad thoughts. Thoughts of ‘I can’t’, ‘I’m not smart enough’, ‘Don’t have enough monee’, ‘I have nothing to offer’, ad nauseum. All are a bunch of hogwash, of course. They’re excuses that keep people running like slaves on a treadmill.

It’s really silly. Because those awful lies are NOT your own really. They originated way back when you were a child - too young to defend yourself against such baloney. You might not even remember those who made you feel like you were a good-for-nothing. No matter. If you feel that way, you were made to feel that way.

Fortunately there’s an easy way to combat the leftover muck of negativity.

Come up with an idea. Something that lights a fire under you. Then make an immediate decision to implement your idea. Don’t let anything or anyone keep you from bringing it to life. This is crucial to overcoming your fears.

Receive and activate. That’s it. Be receptive to your creativity and put it into ACTION. Breathe in, breathe out.

It’s impossible to go wrong with this tried and true method. Keep those ideas coming forever and you’ll KNOW what it’s like to live a fortunate life.

Most everyone needs assistance when undergoing this radical mental adjustment. Enter ‘The Science of Getting Rich for Creators’ – The Science of Getting Rich for Creators a prosperity program for the 21st century. Indulging in it will fire up your creative mind like nothing under the sun.

It’s time to throw caution to the wind. Your life awaits your command. Now.

Warm Regards,
Tania Gabrielle French
