How You Get Better Sleep And Brain Power
I love sleeping in. Especially on weekends and holidays. Turns out – your brain loves it too.
People who sleep soundly are happier and healthier. They’re also more alert and in tune with daily living.
Contrast this to folks who wake up tired and fatigued. What’s the first thing that goes – your social graces. There’s just not enough energy to be, well, a nice person.
You know the scenario. Your wife or husband or child walks into the room wanting your attention about something or another, and you brush them off.
Even though you don’t want to. Or mean to. Pretty crazy. But pretty common.
It goes something like this:
"Good Morning honey. How did you sleep last night?"
You grumble something or another with a frown on your face. Actually it’s a slap in the face. And good way to set the tone for a dreary day.
I’ve been there and done that. And I’m not alone. The numbers are in.
When Americans were polled about their sleep habits a whopping 75% reported restless nights. Three-quarters of American adults are practically sleepwalking through the day. Making decisions about food, work, what to watch on teevee and their future while their not really conscious. Oh my.
Now there’s a simple way to enhance your sleep. In two words, ‘Try Music ’. Not just any sounds. But music you’ve personally discovered feels like a lullaby.
Adults with sleep deprivation who listened to soft classical music at bedtime reported a 35 percent improvement in their quality of sleep. Not only better sleep, but longer sleep. Like anything that’s good for you, you’ve got to step up to the plate and DO it.
Just knowing that music is far more than just background noise – that it can improve your brainpower, reduce stress, lower blood pressure and more would make any sane person sit up and take notice.
Music has real effects on your mood and even your ability to tolerate pain.
So step up to the plate and fall asleep faster, sleep more soundly and wake up feeling refreshed by listening to calming, relaxing music Now.
Warm Regards,
Tania Gabrielle French
P.S. Probably, like most people, you’re often on the go, whether at work, to and from work, with your kids, even at home and during ‘off time’. Putting on music during any and all these situations WILL relax you. It’s plain and simple. And yours for the taking.
