How to Use Music Through the Day

“Yawn.” You’ve just woken up. Your mind and body may be most alert first thing in the morning. But…

Your sleepy nervous system needs a jumpstart. The easy solution - wake up your sleepy brain to energizing classical music.

“Woah!” You’ve finished a meeting on a morning high. Thing is – you’re too wound up about the proposed changes to concentrate on what’s really important. You want to get your thoughts to the task at hand and block out the gossip at the copying machine.

Put on your headphones and listen some focusing music.

“Yawn.” You’ve just finished lunch. Feeling listless and tired.

Walk around the block with an uplifting selection of music. You’ll raise your spirits and keep the afternoon snooze at bay.

“Blank.” You enter the common mid-afternoon slump. Just as your input is needed on a creative new project. Time for a creating selection of music – the kind that stimulates free association from the right hemisphere of your brain. Now you’re cooking.

“Grrr!” You’re stuck in traffic and late for yoga class. Stomach churning after a stressful day. You’re in danger of harming a fellow driver.

A cleansing selection of music comes to the rescue. As you listen to your car stereo your adrenaline rapidly decreases.

“Yikes!” You arrive home to find your spouse lying on the couch with a tension headache. You remember to play some healing music to clear up his headache in time for a romantic dinner.

“Hello.” It’s time to get to bed, but suddenly you’re wide awake, worrying about what you didn’t do today and what you need to accomplish tomorrow.

What to play - a relaxing selection of music. Turn down the lights and let the musical massage lull you into a deep sleep.

That’s a typical day for many folks. Contrast that with the ‘normal’ solution to everyday stresses – caffeine, alcohol, mental effort.

Music offers a natural way to keep you in synch.

Question is – which music do you play and when do you play it. Enter the Sounds of Gold Newsletter and CD. Every month you’ll receive answers to those questions and a lot more. Including an insider list of specific CDs. For every imaginable mood.

And, of course, you get the golden nugget. A CD of positively charged classical music. Composed to a specific theme. Designed to uplift you. Inspire you.

Pump your brain and body with atoms of musical electricity.
