Confessions of a Cowboy
Ran into a real-life honest to goodness cowboy last Saturday.
It was our daughter Clara, a lover of all things horse-related, who pulled us to the corral. We were visiting a month-long harvest festival at the Biltmore Estate here in Western North Carolina.
This cowboy and his horse sent chills down our spine. His stories about how people should treat horses could have applied to life in general.
To put it in a nutshell, he said ‘listen to the horse, not command them. Be a leader, not a dictator.’
Then he explained that ‘it all comes from the inside’ pointing to his heart. With the smallest of gestures he demonstrated how he and his horse communicated. It was like watching an elegant dance between horse and leader.
He awed every one of us again by making the very same gestures and sounds with NO intent behind them – and the horse didn’t move. Not one little bit.
This demonstration of the difference between what you say and what you mean when you say it was incredible.
People often aren’t conscious when they speak – or think, for that matter. By conscious, I mean fully invested, passionate, looking you straight in the eye. The feeling of instant connectedness. Young kids pick up on this pretty darn fast. So do animals. They’re not oblivious to the fine art of perceiving others true state of mind.
Cowboy Bill Scott understands the simple energy of life so well, he raised his own twin infant sons by himself, after their mother left them. They’re twenty now, and, according to their dad, wonderful young men.
This cowboy knows about energy. His command and gentleness were truly inspiring. In talking with him afterwards, we agreed that everything you do comes down to your current state of mind.
That’s where high frequency, positive sounds are so helpful.
You too can remain calm, relaxed and alert when you listen to the sounds in The Secret Power of Words and Music CDs. Make that mind, heart and body the easy way.
Warm Regards,
Tania Gabrielle French
P.S. Cowboy Bill Scott is called a Natural Horsemanship Clinician. If you have a horse you might want to check into his clinics. There are troubled horses just like troubled people. In fact, according to Bill, horses won’t let troubled people pet them. It all comes down to how you really feel inside. Get the CDs that gently melt away you’re your mental stress now.
