All Americans Are ...

Fill in the blank. When you travel or live overseas you hear ignoramuses claim this and that about All Americans.

Happens here too, I know. Blanket statements can be entertaining, but don’t take ‘em too seriously.

Yesterday a woman was telling me about her musical family after she found out we’re professional musicians.

“My mom sings and plays piano. My sisters each have their own band.”

“Uhu.”

“I play the flute. One of my sisters does hard rock and the other alternative rock. It’s all music, you know – it’s all good,” she was almost reassuring me.

There are times to keep your mouth zipped, and this was one of them. It’s her family, after all. I could have said, “Actually, not all music is good. You wouldn’t say that about all food, or all people living in France, would you?”

“Well…no,” would be the answer.

Take corn vs. blueberries. Same size, different color, but that’s where the similarities end. One has anti-cancer properties, is a powerful antioxidant, helps your vision and prevents short term memory loss. The other, well – your body can’t even digest it.

Blueberries, especially the bilberry and wild blueberry kind, are really good for you. What’s not is – surprise – corn, or anything made with corn. The yellow shell containing the soft meat of the kernel is indigestible. This applies to all corn products from cornmeal to corn syrup to cornstarch.

Before my eyes were opened, I used to love eating corn. Just like some of you like listening to hard rock. Thing is, once your enlightened one way or the other you can’t claim ignorance no more.

I know it’s tough to find out your favorite food or music really ony HARMS your health. Talk about being caught between a rock and a hard place. Can’t turn back, but don’t want to go forward. Fact, is most people don’t want to change.

Thing is, if it works it works, and only the weaklings will turn back to bad old habits.

Not so the hundreds around the world who have listened to The Secret Power of Words and Music. They feel more alert, more relaxed and truly invigorated. Now it’s your turn to tune in.

Warm Regards,
Tania Gabrielle French
