This Is No Voodoo
This morning I read some astounding confirmation about the power of the mind in Science News. Now, just to fill you in, this is not a mag that subscribes to so-called New Age thinking.
The article immediately caught my attention. The topic was psychokinesis.
What is psychokinesis? It’s the power of the mind to manipulate matter. In this case, an average of 100 participants used their minds to influence the output of computers. Not just in one study but 380 random studies around the world.
Here’s how it goes.
The participant mentally tries to influence a computer to produce, say, more 1s than 0s. After Dr. Holger Bösch of the University of Freiberg in Germany analyzed these 380 studies, he found a significant tendency for pre-designated 1s or 0s to appear. Meaning, if participants used their mind to influence the computer to produce more 0s, it did.
Now scientists are trying to figure out HOW the mind can influence a computer.
China, especially, has been a leader in investigating the power of the mind. Under strict scientific conditions, Chinese Universities have undertaken large-scale studies of this ‘voodoo’ phenomenon.
For a story that could have come directly from ‘The Twilight Zone’ check this study as reported in China’s “Nature Journal.”
"A more spectacular series of rigorously controlled - and repeatable! - laboratory experiments occurred in China. An extraordinary paper called “Some Experiments on the Transfer of Objects Performed by Unusual Abilities of the Human Body” reported that gifted children were able to cause the apparent teleportation of small objects - radio micro-transmitters, photosensitive paper, mechanical watches, horseflies, other insects, etc. - from one location to another (that was meters away) without them ever touching the objects beforehand.
“The experiments were operated under exceptionally well- controlled conditions (both blind and double-blind). The researchers involved included not only observers from various Chinese colleges and medical research institutes, but also representatives from the Chinese National Defense Science Commission. “
Keep reading, because it gets even more spooky.
"... the radio micro-transmitter used as a test specimen in one series of experiments transmitted a radio signal to several stationary electronic instruments/receivers, so that the specimen could be tracked and monitored during the teleportation process.
“The experimenters discovered that there were Large fluctuations in the intensity (in both amplitude and frequency) of the monitored signal. It would either completely disappear or become extremely weak - to the point where the monitoring instruments could scarcely detect it.
“There was a definite correlation between the change in strength (i.e., radical frequency shifts were observed) of the monitored radio signal and the teleportation of the test specimen such that the weak or absent signal indicated that the specimen was “nonexistent” - or in an altered physical state - during teleportation. (Note: the monitored signal amplitude and frequency of the micro-transmitter specimen were STABLE Before and After teleportation.)
To sum it up in layman’s terms:
During the time that these kids moved the radio micro-transmitter from A to B, its frequencies shifted radically. To the point where the signal became so weak or absent that, in effect, the transmitter, a physical object, had been made ‘nonexistent.’
OK, some of you may have to see it to believe it. That’s perfectly fine. How about giving the power of YOUR thoughts a try. How about teleporting your goals to reality.
