Do What You Love
I wanted to share with you what a friend and mentor of mine had to say recently to one of his students.
I’ve always drawn inspiration from those who walk their talk, and my friend Peter Ragnar epitomizes such a one. His road from poor construction worker to prolific writer, world renowned martial artist, health expert and multi-millionaire makes him a beacon of wisdom. Here’s what he said.
“I've always believed, ‘do what you love, the money will come.’
“I've been teaching the things I love to do forever and have discovered that when there is joy in the action, the action attracts prosperity. Thus, the joyful prosperity only makes you better at what you do.
“You constantly seek to be worthy of the rewards you receive everyday. You make a dedication to a life of excellence. When there is no difference between the person you aspire to be and the person you really are -- then you have acheived greatly.
“Don't be dismayed when I tell you I'm still chipping away at my own shortcomings and failing whenever I set the bar too high. So, never give up on your dreams, fight the discouragements, and press on no matter what the critics assault you with!
“Someone said, ‘Life is not a freeway, but a toll road where you have to pay full price.’”
Your passion for goodness defines your life. When you desire to improve your life every day a magical alchemy takes place inside of you.
Once I began to actually Manifest my longing for prosperity, all the weight I was carrying on my shoulders disappeared.
Why?
Because I got up and did something productive. I stopped wondering why I didn’t feel complete. By activating my dream to be free from debt and worry, my dream turned into reality. Doing something towards alleviating any pain is the most wonderful antidote to worry, fear and depression.
So Peter’s words, “do what you love, the money will come,” are truly prophetic. And Peter will readily tell anyone that he didn’t get there by himself. He’s a voracious reader. He memorizes important passages so that his subconscious mind switches gears. He listens to motivational CDs because he knows that Hearing the words makes them penetrate so much deeper.
