Why We Are So Obese

Why We Are So Obese

Most Americans are either obese or overweight. It’s a serious problem that lessens quality of life in a big way.

Kids nowadays are eating more junk food while not exercising. And, get this – kids watch an average of three to four hours of television a day. That’s insane.

Adults are even worse – they average 40 hours a week. By my last count, that’s a work-week’s worth of time, mostly wasted on the couch or the bed. Since one addictive behavior inevitably leads to another, it’s no wonder that food cravings have gone through the roof. Add the fact that the msg in most junk foods is a known addictive ingredient, and you’ve got yourself a whole nation’s recipe for disaster.

300,000 Americans die as a direct result of obesity every year. And that doesn’t even take into account all the deaths from obesity-aggravated diseases, such as heart attacks, diabetes, and stroke. It rivals smoking as the leading cause of Preventable death.

Here’s the thing. If you can prevent your premature death by stopping a certain behavior, and you don’t do it, that makes you both and addict And insane.

I know, those are strong words. But strong measures are needed when we loose control over our lives. When our emotional attachments supersede rational common sense.

So, if you’re ignoring your life by turning your attention on the boob-tube, eating too much and not exercising – life on earth will not turn out very well.

However, once you accept the power within You to change anything you want to, life takes on a whole new meaning. And then, loosing weight or never lighting up another cigarette is a natural byproduct of living.

A big factor in this equation is the destructive influence of stress. Emotional, mental or physical – stress is like a cancer that spreads into all aspects of your life. Begin to address it now by eliminating it slowly and ever so surely.

Help yourself to a serving of joy instead of ice cream. While you’re at it, take a walk. Do all of this while listening to uplifting sounds. Sounds that awaken the greatness of You. Once you get a taste of your awesome potential, you’ll never look back. Check out this stress reducing sound package now.

Warm Regards,
