How King Saul Inspired King George
King George I of Great Britain had a problem. He suffered from occasional memory loss and didn’t respond well to stress.
While reading the story of King Saul in the bible, George had an epiphany. You see, King Saul had experienced the same kind of problems. And he overcame them.
The method Saul used really intrigued to King George I.
King Saul used special music. The secret component of the music that helped him was that it had order. Just like the music from the Baroque period during George’s reign.
So George had an idea. Why not ask the greatest composer of his time, Handel, to write some special music for him. He hoped it would help him the same way it did King Saul.
Handel was delighted to help the king, and wrote one of his most famous works – “Water Music.” When you hear the majestic, gorgeous long melodies and graceful rhythms you’ll feel the heart and mind shimmer in unison. Just what King George needed.
In fact, he loved the music so much that it was repeated three times. In Handel’s life performances of “Water Music” were played for some of the largest audiences ever.
The order of this baroque music causes the brain to respond in special ways. It depicts natural patterns of rhythm and melody as well as an ebb and flow of repetition, change and speed. These are the qualities existing in math and geometry. The human brain and body recognizes these sacred patterns and performs better when listening to this ordered music.
Thank you King George I for having the wherewithal to recognize the power of music and Use it.
George and Saul would have loved reading all the research available now confirming their theories. We’re lucky to live at a time in history where, what was previously considered airy fairy or outright sacrilege has become accepted by the world of science.
Exploring the great power of positively charged music has never been more important and easier. Get your dose now!
Warm Regards,
