Girl Awakens from 10-Day Coma
The doctors in Burnley, England were very concerned about five-year-old Claudia.
10 days earlier, five-year-old Claudia Dealwis fell headfirst from a balcony – a drop of 15 feet. She suffered a fractured skull which put her in a coma. Her doctors told the little girl’s parents that she may not make it. For ten days the heartwrenching uncertainty of death hung in the air.
Then her father Paul vividly recalls how the hospital radio started playing “You’re beautiful” by James Blunt. It was Claudia’s absolute favorite song. She was always singing it – before her accident.
Soon after the song began, Claudia suddenly started moving. Her mom and dad knew immediately that she was waking from her coma.
It’s been three weeks since that miraculous day. Claudia is now walking, even with a partly paralyzed right arm and leg.
Imagine. The memory of that song instantly lit up her brain’s battery. Even thought she had heard her parents’ voices for 10 days, it was the special happy connection Claudia had to this music that triggered her synapses to fire again.
Before my father passed away, I remember a close friend telling me how hearing remains until the very end. Even when touch, vision, smell and taste may have disappeared. The power of sound to penetrate even when a person is dying or in a coma has been widely documented.
Here’s what’s important about what happened to Claudia. She had been singing “You’re Beautiful” all the time. So a great feeling was activated in her subconscious mind, as a result of this repetition.
That’s why repeating sounds that uplift you, that inspire you, that relax you – is so vital to your overall well-being. Then, whenever you play those sounds, you’ll instantly feel great. Because your positive emotional connection to them is so strong.
Now it’s your turn to revitalize. Celebrate the first day of summer with some spine-tingling music. Listen to The Secret Power of Words and Music CDs and repeat every day for maximum results.
You’ll have the best summer break yet.
Warm Regards,
Tania Gabrielle French
