Look Who’s Playing My Music
I’ve got some world-class performances of my music going on.
First some news. The Artis Quartet, one of Europe’s greatest chamber groups will be playing the world premiere of my new work in the U.S. next February. At the end of their tour, they’ll perform my music at the Library of Congress.
What’s most thrilling is that this music will receive its European premiere in the world’s finest concert hall – the Musikverein in Vienna, Austria in March.
Whose hallowed halls, by the way, have echoed with my music before. And I have posters to prove it.
Vienna is thee city to visit if you're a classical musician. One great composer to the next, from Haydn to Mozart, from Mozart to Beethoven, from Beethoven to Schubert to the Waltz King Johann Strauss have counted Vienna as their favorite city. They wrote their immortal works there. Walking in the old part of the city, where we always stay, is like walking through the history of western classical music.
Then there's another world premiere, this time in New York tol be performed later this year. It’s still a secret – but I’ll just divulge that some very funny ‘Alice in Wonderland’ excerpts are involved.
Musicians have told me that they love to play my music. Because it’s melodic, immediately accessible and doesn’t underestimate your intelligence. Meaning, you’re inspired instead of bored. Or overextended by too many notes. Musicians appreciate this.
Grammy-award-winners like the Angeles Quartet and NYC’s St. Luke’s Chamber Orchestra members have added to my list of superb performances. That’s any composer’s dream, because the music’s only as good as the musicians performing it.
Now you can hear these world-class artists when you listen to my The Secret Power of Words and Music set of five CDs. Get your package now because they’re going fast.
Warm Regards,
Tania Gabrielle French
